Help & Support

  • Always make sure that you have latest version of App on your tablet. You can update it regularly from play store.
  • Please Install Anydesk & Anydesk Control plug-in AD1 from the Google Play store, and go to Accessibility in your tablet's Settings menu to enable the AD1 plugin before contacting Wavecom for support. That way we can connect to your tablet and help faster.
  • Make sure all updates on your tablet are installed including google Apps and Android version.
  • Always sync your data to our cloud database so if you lost your tablet, lost application or lost data due to user error, you can restore your application back. Cloud plans start from as low as $60+ GST per YEAR.
  • Display zoom settings in tablet are set to minimum.
  • Display time out settings in tablet are at least 30 mins or above. This can be reason for intermittent Bluetooth connection dropouts as tablet goes to sleep.
  • For Battery powered testers, make sure battery time out settings are at least 30mins or more. This can be reason for intermittent Bluetooth connection dropouts as tester goes to sleep.
  • Always use Exit button on Menu in Android App before turning off the tester. This clean disconnection helps Autoconnection when you open the App next time and unit is already turned ON.

  • In order to reset Company ID, you will need email address & ABN/ACN that you used to register WinPATS App with.
  • To change company PW, you will need your Company ID (8 Digit starting with your company name e.g. WavUxfcT) and access to your WinPATS Registered email address.
  • We emailed you your company ID on your registered email address immediately upon registration.

  • If your access level is set as ADMIN, you will see all customer & site. You wont require PW at almost no point, you can Add Customer & Site.
  • If your access level is set as USER, you will only see allocated customer & sites. You will also be restricted to access Change User details, access Company Details and Reports, Emptying Trash etc. USERs can not add customer or site without Company PW.
  • If your technician can not see customer or site, it means you have to either make him ADMIN (EDIT user > check box Set as admin) or Allocate him that site where you want him to go or access, through Menubar > Company > Allocate Sites

Simply, try turning BLUETOOTH OFF in tablet and turn on after 30sec, and restart the tester and then App. This generally fixes issues.
If still facing issues, please follow following steps.
First Thing- Check on Prime / Titan that if Bluetooth is working; if Bluetooth Symbol is flashing question mark then unit has Bluetooth issue
Second: Check if Bluetooth is ON on tablet
change TnP Prime / Titan - Battery time out setting, because if its set to 10 mins turn off, you may feel like its dropping but it's actually unit turning off. On TnP Prime or Titan, Press Enter & F2 together, which will open TnT Settings menu, please keep pressing NEXT (F2) till you see Battery time out settings, please increase it to 30mins or 60 mins max
Reset Bluetooth Module settings - Press Enter & F2 together, which will open TnT Settings menu, please keep pressing NEXT (F2) till you see Bluetooth setting; Disable PIN code required, this will communicate to module and reset it, if further option comes up after that, disable the disconnect when connection lost- only in some models though, otherwise this will take you to Menu A straight.
Restart the Unit
Reset Bluetooth connection on Tablet, please go to Bluetooth settings, select your Unit and click FORGET. That way tablet will be unpaired for good. Now restart the tablet. Now again go to Bluetooth settings and pair it. Now open WinPATS App, go to TnT on top menu bar, connect via Bluetooth, find your unit and connect.
Now onwards, always exit APP through EXIT Button. This cleanly disconnects Bluetooth and helps auto connect when app starts back if tester was already turned ON.

Always use either 4G or WiFi, not both at a time. You can use hotspot from mobile if 4G not available.

Terms Of Usage

In order to offer the full range of WinPATS' features, we ask that you enable all device relevant permissions when setting up the app for the first time.

In order to use the WinPATS App, a company has to be registered with a valid ABN & email address. This is to maintain the security of your cloud database for all customers. WinPATS performs the active ABN/ACN/NZBN check based on the country you enter as your location. Adding customers to the app also requires that they have a valid ABN/ACN/NZBN & email address, which will allow them to securely access their data if they register with WinPATS. By using WinPATS you agree that WAVECOM can allow your customers to have read-only access to their data at cost after secure registration on our servers. Access to their data will be protected by ABN check and email verification. WAVECOM will not share any data that may have been collected with any third party - any data collected will only be used to improve the WinPATS user experience.

All offline data that is not backed up to WinPATS Cloud will be lost if WinPATS Android Application is uninstalled, data cleared manually or tablet gets broken or lost. Cloud Data back-up is to be done periodically by user by clicking SYNC / Cloud Button on top right corner on HOME screen of WinPATS Android Application, while being connected to internet via 4G OR Wifi. WAVECOM cannot recover data that is not backed up to the WinPATS Cloud. Users are entirely responsible for their data. Since each Android tablet differ between manufacturers in terms of hardware, operating system, software & firmware patches, WinPATS operation can differ and have some operational issues. Users are responsible to make sure WinPATS Application has latest updates installed at all times. WAVECOM will not be liable for any data loss, revenue loss or any other sort of liabilities or injuries resulting from user error, sync error due to internet issues, tablet manufacturer's hardware issues, Operating system updates, issues from third party applications, lack of consistent & sequential WinPATS App updates or any other reason whatsoever. User is responsible to select correct cloud back-up / support plan once logged in to start backing up data to cloud. User is responsible for all costs including data charges for internet connection for data sync to cloud. User is responsible for keeping stable internet while uploading data to cloud database.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality & distribution of their Company ID account and password. Users are responsible for restricting access to their computer / Tablet / Device. Any breach of security, data theft, data corruption, hacking to cloud database from Users or Registered devices will violate terms of conditions of usage and WAVECOM reserves right to cancel / delete account in such scenario and may hold user(s) responsible and liable for any or all liabilities & losses that are associated with it.

All Data stored on servers owned or operated by WAVECOM is property of Wavecom Instruments Pty Ltd. While WAVECOM provides utmost up-time guarantee, any network or cloud server down times are beyond control of WAVECOM, WAVECOM will not be liable for any resulting data loss, revenue loss or any other sort of liabilities or injuries. While Wavecom may periodically backup WinPATS server data automatically to provide user support in unfortunate event, Users are liable to download their full database periodically and keep their own backup. Wavecom Instruments Pty Ltd will not be under any liability for whatsoever for providing this application to ease the usage of Wavecom products.

Payments made to purchase Android app or subscription are non-refundable. All subscriptions are annual purchase and valid for next 1 year from date of purchase.
